It's been a productive week here despite the heat...
I finished quilting this mini twister and have the binding on just waiting to be tacked.
I finally started quilting my Nicey Jane gingham quilt... this may take awhile: )
Now I'm being "challenged" by this stack of fabrics for the QuiltCon Block Challenge and the BMQG Lowell Quilt Festival mini quilt challenge. I ordered this QuiltCon Kona bundle from the incredible Pink Chalk Fabrics. I think they must secretly deliver by owl, how else could I get fabrics ordered from Washington Monday night on Wednesday morning? I'm hoping if I just stare at it long enough I'll come up with an idea:-)
Good for you for doing the Quiltcon block challenge! I am too nervous to try! Those colors are so yummy.
ReplyDeleteThat pile of QuiltCon fabrics looks lovely, have fun with your challenge block! You did lovely quilting on the twister quilt. I love it when I get to the binding stage. It's so satisfying to put the finishing touches on a quilt!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your idea for the challenge! I had to give up on fitting that in.
ReplyDeleteDelivered by owl!! HA!!
ReplyDeleteThe Nicey Jane quilt looks so summery, love it! Good luck on your QuiltCon block! Pink Chalk Fabrics really is super fast, I am always amazed at how fast my orders from there arrive in my mailbox! Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteFabulous colors there! And love the Nicey Jane, too.

ReplyDeleteLove that bundle of solids and very much looking forward to seeing what you do with it
