In the Studio

X-Wing, Big Swoon, Toes in the Sand, Houndstooth, City Sampler
I'm off to a slow start this year but I'm finally getting back to sewing and blogging.  Here's the state of the studio...  I had fairly modest goals for last year, a good thing because I didn't do much quilting.  The good news is I didn't add anything to the UFO stack so it still stands at 5.  Once again my City Sampler is at the top of my list - hopefully this is the year!

On the WIP front I'm still plugging away at my La Passacaglia.  I've prepped my final rosettes and am just a few sporting events away from having them all assembled.  Of course then I'll have to sew them all together and figure out where I'm going with it from there.

I've also got these broken dishes blocks that I started making at last year's BostonMQG retreat to put together.

And the first 15 of 48 blocks from the Fussy Cut Sampler QAL2 by Elisabew Quilts.

I'm still struggling to get my Sewjo back so I'm keeping my goals for this year simple.  Ultimately I still just want to make pretty things and put a dent in my stash...  we'll see how that goes.

  1. So fun to see your work. Your La Passacagila is so beautiful. Keeping it simple is a great way to get your Sewjo back. Mine has apparently taken a break and I'm waiting for it to return. Until then, I will just putter away with this and that.
